DPS Rohini Announces Admission to Nursery (Pre School) 2011-2012

NEW DELHI: DPS (Delhi Public School) Rohini has issued the notification for registration for admission to Nursery (Pre School) Session 2011-2012. The application forms for admission to pre-school will be available online between Saturday, 1st January 2011 and Saturday, 15th January 2011 at the official website of the school: www.dpsrohini.com.

Guidelines for filling the Nursery (Pre School) 2011-2012 Registration Form:

1. Age : The eligible age should be 3+ as on 31st March 2011.
    
2. Registration forms will be available online (at http://www.dpsrohini.com) between Saturday, 1^st January 2011 and Saturday, 15th January 2011. Application forms for EWS (Economically Weaker Section) category will be available in the School between 1^st Jan 2011 and 15th Jan 2011 on all working days between 7:30 a.m and 3:30 p.m
    
3. Information for General Category Candidates

• A Pay Order / Draft of Rs 25/- (Rupees Twenty Five only) Drawn in favour of Principal, DPS Rohini must be sent to reach Delhi Public School – Rohini, Phase III, Sector – 24, Rohini, New Delhi 110085 latest by 15th January 2011 along with a print out of the submitted form and a self addressed stamped envelope of size 24 cm X 11 cm.
• All forms received after 15th January (Saturday) 2011 will not be accepted.
• Please keep a photocopy of duly filled registration form for ur all yofuture reference.                                                        .
• Duly filled registration form and a self addressed stamped envelope of size 24 cm X 11 cm must be sent to Delhi Public School – Rohini, Phase-III, Sector-24, Rohini, New Delhi 110085 latest by Saturday, 15th January 2011.

     4. For EWS (Economically Weaker Section) Candidates

• Duly filled registration form and a self addressed stamped envelope of size 24 cm X 11 cm must be sent to Delhi Public School – Rohini, Phase-III, Sector-24, Rohini, New Delhi 110085 latest by Saturday, 15th January 2011.
• Forms received after Saturday, 15th January 2011 will not be accepted.
• Please keep a photocopy of duly filled registration form for future reference.

Staff Children -   In this case only staff of DPS Rohini will be considered   Neighbourhood – Here are the areas which will be considered for neighbourhood       a. Rohini including Prashant Vihar b. Pitampura   c. Paschim Vihar d. Shalimar Bagh   e. Ashok Vihar f. Model Town   g. Delhi University Area h. Punjabi Bagh   Sibling  -  Only real brother or sister of existing students of DPS Rohini will be considered as sibling.   Single Parent  - Only widow/widower will be considered for single parent.   Transfer Case  – Relocation from anywhere in India (except Delhi & NCR) & abroad in the year 2010-2011 will be considered.   DPS Alumni -          DPS Alumni of core schools of DPS Society – (Father -10 Points, Mother -10 Points)          DPS Alumni of  DPS Schools under the aegis of DPS Society other than the core schools – (Father -5 Points, Mother –5 Points)   Child with special needs - Only children with marginal special needs who can be mainstreamed within the existing facilities of the school may apply. Appropriate Medical Certificate from a registered specialist associated with a Government Hospital  or a recognised established Private Hospital to be attached. School specific criteria – v      Points allotted for the following : (Father-5, Mother – 5)           i.  Teachers / Professors on permanent appointment in Government recognized institutions / medical  colleges /        engineering colleges  and other institutes of higher studies approved by UGC.  ii.  Parents connected with Visual Arts / Performing Arts / Sports / Media at National Level recognized by  the         Central  Government. (Common Wealth Games, Asian Games, Olympics) iii.  Professionals related to Architects, Chartered Accountants, Company Secretary, Computer Technology,       Doctors, Engineers, Foreign language, Information Technology, Management, Scientists,  Lawyers. iv.  Commissioned officers of Armed Forces (Indian Army, Navy and Air Force only), Officers of  Diplomatic &     Civil Services.  v.  Parents working in International Organizations / MNC’s.  v     Any Other : (Father-4, Mother – 4)
