Germany march ahead to Semifinals beating Argentina
Germany is through to the semi-finals after beating Argentina 4-0 at Cape Town’s Green Point Stadium on 3rd July, 2010. Both teams have a real chance of winning the world cup this year but Germany’s performance and teamwork give it the way for winning the world cup.
Germany has scored their goal in the first 2 minutes. Argentina was put on the back foot within minutes of starting the game. German’s have showed outstanding performance the way they passed and trickled without making a single mistake.

Angel Di Maria and Higuain set up a few scoring shots but were blocked by the attentive German goal keeper. Podolski led the German attack in the second half to help them score the second goal. Podolski managed to get ahead of the Argentine defense down the left side and looked well set to score the goal himself but selflessly passed the ball to his teammate Klose who scored the goal with ease from inside the penalty box.
Friedrich shot in a goal from close range after collecting a pass from Schweinsteiger which made the score read 3 – 0. Klose rubbed salt into the wounds of the hurting Argentineans when he scored his second goal of the match in the 89th minute to seal the game.
Germany will go into the semifinals with loads of confidence on their side after their destruction of the Argentine team. The difference has been their passing and teamwork which has seen them set up some superb goals for their teammates. Germany won the match 4 – 0.
